Harvey Public Library District Grand Opening
Frederick Quinn has completed the final phase of the Harvey Public Library's renovation and expansion project and everyone is invited to come on out for the grand opening celebration. Harvey Public Library District will be hosting this celebration on Saturday, June 4th from 10am - 12pm. The grand opening will feature special guest MC comedian/actor, Damon Williams along with refreshments and tours of the new spaces. We hope to see everyone there!!!
St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Groundbreaking Ceremony
A momentous event and milestone is happening for the St. Peter the Apostle Parish Community. The Most Reverend R. Daniel Conlon, Bishop of the Joliet Diocese, will be joining everyone for the groundbreaking ceremony to officially launch construction of the long awaited new church building.
The groundbreaking will be held at St. Peter's in Itasca on Saturday June 5th at 12:30pm immediatly following mass. Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Newly Expanded Lemont Public Library Reopening
The May 9th afternoon celebration at the Lemont Public Library marked the completion of the eight month long expansion and renovation project. Many joined together for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating this modern, fuctional, and beautiful space that that will serve the needs of the community for years to come. Many of the key figures involved with the successful execution of the renovation project were present including Library Board Members, Library Staff, representatives of Engberg Anderson Architects and Frederick Quinn Corporation along with many friends of the Lemont Public Library.
Wheaton Academy New Science Wing Groundbreaking - West Chicago, IL
Wheaton Academy broke ground on Monday, April 18th to mark the start of construction for the $6.4 million new science wing. The new science wing incorporates 20,000 square feet of new space over three floors, including new biology and physics classrooms, new chemistry labs and supplemental classroom space. Leading the groundbreaking ceremony was Head of School Gene Frost with guest speaker West Chicago Mayor Ruben Pineda.
