FQC Attends Glen Ellyn School District 41 Hadley Junior High Groundbreaking

FQC attended the Glen Ellyn School District 41 Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Hadley Junior High project that was held on April 3rd, 2018.  The $22.4M referendum funded project includes an addition at Hadley to eliminate the remaining portable classrooms. 
 
Additional work will inlcude renovations to the music spaces inside the existing building, office space upgrades, ADA bathrooms, and roofing/heating/cooling upgrades.  A new bus lane will also be constructed, taking 18 school buses off of Glencoe Street and onto District 41 property at Hadley.

FQC Welcomes Newest Employee Jason Goike

Frederick Quinn Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Goike to the FQC team.  Jason holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering and brings with him 7 years of experience in construction management for both government and private industry.

As FQC's Manager of Pre-Construction Services, Jason is responsible for executing the Pre-Construction Services which include but are not limited to preparing estimates and budgets for construction and renovation projects.  His responsibilities also include reviewing documents, inspecting current conditions and preparing value engineering ideas to assure an Owner the best possible construction value for their dollar.

FQC Awarded New Project By Glencoe School District 35

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was selected to provide Construction Management services by Glencoe School District 35 for their upcoming project, Glencoe West School HVAC Upgrades.

The project consists of HVAC remodeling and renovation of the existing facilities.  FQC will be once again working with Green Associates on this project.  Construction is scheduled to begin April 2018 and will be completed September 2018.

Center Cass School District 66 Selects FQC as CM for their Referendum Projects

Center Cass School District 66 recently selected Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) as Construction Manager for their upcoming Referendum projects.  All funds are being used for repairs, maintenance, alterations, additions, site improvements, equipping, and increasing safety and security for Elizabeth Ide School (grades K-2), Lakeview Jr. High School (grades 6-8), and Prairieview Elementary School (grades 3-5).

FQC will be working with Wold / Ruck Pate on these projects.  Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring/summer of 2018 and scheduled for completion by the start of the 2019-2020 school year.

FQC Awarded Another Project by the GSA

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was recently awarded another project by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the Tenant Office Buildout and General Building Modifications, located at 230 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL 60604. 

The GSA intends to construct office space for multiple Federal Agencies at the John C. Kluczynski (JCK) Federal Building.  The scope includes the construction of office space on multiple floors of the JCK.  The build-out of each floor will happen simultaneously.

FQC will be working along with the GSA and their selected Architect, exp. U.S. Services, Inc., to have this project completed in 2019.
