New Law and Justice Center
Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was selected to provide pre-construction and Construction Management as Advisor services for Livingston County’s much needed new Law and Justice Center in Pontiac, IL. The two-story, 62,000 square foot facility with a basement houses the Circuit Court, Public Defender, Judiciary, Jury Assembly, State’s Attorney, Court Services and Support, Sally Port, and storage and maintenance areas. FQC worked hand-in-hand with the architect from the very beginning of the design stages. Pre-construction services included cost estimates at each design phase, value analysis, project phasing, scheduling, and bidding. Highlights of the project include:
- Designed to meet LEED Silver Certification
- Secure Sally Port, inmate holding and officer area for County Sheriff
- Video arraignment technology system
- Three court rooms with state-of-the-art technology
- Separate judicial chambers
FQC was also selected to perform CM services for Phase 2 of this project which includes the renovation of their existing historic courthouse. Construction commenced once the new Law and Justice Center was completed.
