Gower School District 62

Gower West Elementary School

FQC has enjoyed a relationship with Gower School District 62 since 2012. The relationship started with the successful passage of a $9 million referendum in March of 2012. The resultant project included substantial additions and renovations to the Gower Middle School and life safety improvements and upgrades to early childhood classrooms at Gower West Elementary School. The project required a compressed construction schedule to meet the operational needs of the District with respect to ongoing operations.

Most recently the District passed a $16 million referendum in November of 2020. The current project includes a major addition to the Gower West Elementary School building as well as development of classroom renovations to provide 21St Century learning environments. Included in the classroom upgrades will be new finishes and furnishings with a focus on flexible learning environments.
