    New Prairie Trails Elementary School

    Frederick Quinn Corporation was selected to provide referendum assistance and construction management services for the construction of a new elementary school. The new elementary school was a goal of District 56 for several years due to the constant flooding issues occurring at the existing Gurnee Grade School. After 7 failed referendum attempts, a highly effective campaign that FQC and other members of the project team assisted with finally presented a compelling reason for the voters to support a new school. Construction began on the 70 acre site in Summer 2011. Highlights of the project include:

    • New Elementary School
    • New 90,000 SF elementary school
    • Goal of LEED Silver
    • Extensive site work on 70 acre property
    • Sports and activity fields
    • Potential District offices within school
