L.J. Stevens Elementary School

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) provided construction management services for the addition and renovation to the existing L.J. Stevens Middle School, allowing it to function as the elementary school and house all of its 4th and 5th graders in a single building. The project includes a 15,000 SF addition, including 8 new general purpose classrooms and two single bathrooms. Highlights of the project include:

• Eight new general purpose classrooms
• Two new bathrooms
• Upgrades to the 6 existing bathrooms to meet ADA compliance
• New fixtures and finishes in bathrooms
• Renovation of existing kitchen
• Removal and replacement of existing 45,000 SF EPDM roofing system
• Life safety upgrades

The district initiative also included a brand new 150,000 SF high school and a complete rehabilitation to the existing high school, allowing it to function as a middle school.
