New Police Station

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was selected by the Village of Melrose Park to provide general contractor services for their much needed new two-story police station. Having outgrown their existing “Barney Miller” style station coupled with a need for updated technology, FQC was able to deliver a state-of-the-art police station with adequate space to handle their growing law enforcement team and expanding departments.

Built in the highly traveled downtown area and adjacent to the train tracks, FQC had to overcome various logistical challenges throughout the construction stages. Additionally, an in-depth wish list was confined by budgetary restrictions leaving the Village of Melrose Park no choice but to provide the most amount of space in the most cost-effective manner, without sacrificing growing technology needs and desires.
