Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202

New Plainfield North High School

Plainfield CCSD 202 selected Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) to provide General Contractor Services for the construction of their third high school, totalling 365,000 SF. This facility was constructed to meet the population needs of Will County, one of the fastest growing areas in the country. This school was designed to house 1,800 students at its opening, and configured for an additional 1,000 students in the future. Situated on a 80 acre parcel, FQC was assigned the task of completing this facility in 18 months. FQC facilitated a successful project by concentrating on the primary goal of any project, complete owner satisfaction. Open communication lines within the entire project team ensured that the focus was on solving, not creating, the problems that occur on any complex construction project. Highlights of this school include:

  • Forty-four classroom spaces equipped with computers, internet access, television monitors, multimedia retrieval system and voice communication systems.
  • Fifteen specialty classrooms including dance, physical education, computer, science laboratories and fine arts rehearsal spaces.
