New City Hall & Police Headquarters

The City of Countryside selected Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) to provide Construction Management as Constructor services for a new Police & Village Hall Building.

The new facility is approximately 36,000 SF and includes sufficient space for comprehensive police department operations, all city departments, necessary support space and shared building use. The previous facility was outdated, inefficient and did not meet the needs of staff, especially in the police arena.

The facility is seeking LEED Gold Certification and includes a geothermal HVAC system, a photovoltaic system high efficiency building envelope and other sustainable design attributes. In addition the owner applied for and received grant funding available through pursuing Net Zero building performance. This criteria resulted In a new facility that has zero energy consumption from fossil fuels.

FQC once again worked with Dewberry Architects on the project. The work will be conducted in phases and was completed in Fall 2019.
