Weber Leisure Center

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was selected by the Skokie Park District to provide Construction Management Services for the addition and renovation to the Weber Leisure Center.

The facility is located at 9300 Weber Park Place in Skokie, Illinois. The Weber Leisure Center renovation project was designed to expand and upgrade this 20-year recreation center that serves over 3,500 members. The major elements of the project were focused around the 1,800 SF addition which included a new central stair tower, expanded exercise floor along with the complete gut and replacement of both the Women’s and Men’s locker rooms and renovating the main lobby area.

The project also included renovations to the 1st floor facility offices, new controlled childcare area, updates to the public washrooms and renovation to both the 1st and 2nd floors corridors and public areas. This new plan was centered on making more effective use of existing spaces, modernizing the central fitness facility and capturing under-used space.

The project was completed in the fall of 2017.
